    This used to be a bridge where sweethearts go on a date during the days of when there are still nilads (they say "nilads" are flowers growing at the riverbanks of pasig river and its arteries). However, during the 1980s, the Lambingan Bridge was aptly called the "Libingan Bridge" (Cemetery Bridge) because of "salvages" or summary executed criminals that were thrown over the said bridge.
