Tondo is not what you think it is, tondo is like any other place in the world where good and bad co-exist in harmony. It's like joining the survivor series. I wish they will consider tondo as a place of interest for the next survivor challenge. if you beat the odds living in tondo for a month, then you are a SURVIVOR.

It was a great school because of great students like us, Batch '79 Section 1 (out of about 50 Sections w/ ave. 45 students per class). Producing 9 National State Scholars that time and now alumni with PhD's in Economics, Geology, etc. Also produced engineers(who had roamed the world)like me for one. "The Wall 1978-79" Editorial Staff is the Best!!!

Yet you knew that with the imminent danger of war against Japan in the late 1930s and up to the point of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the country would need help from Americans. In a sense we really didn't get our independence from the US 'til 1946, two years after you died of tuberculosis in Saranac Lake New York. We might have been liberated from the wretched Japanese, but we were still part of the US months after the Second World War ended.
