the city govt should relocate the city jail in pandacan after they had removed the oil depots there... then convert the bilibid area into a park/commercial center... because the jail does not fit the surroundings anymore...the recto area is now a commercial, educational and transportation hub in the heart of the city... meanwhile the pandacan oil depot is less crowded and at least 10 x the lot area of the bilibid area..,.. they should just erect a memorial in the center to commemorate those who died there during the Japanese occupation....

I have seen this place of so much squalor. baseco compound is owned by the state.... it can be converted into a Coney Island, New York theme park... this would generate billions to the economy as well as jobs for the poor...not to mention eliminating a major eye sore and possible ground zero for epidemics in the beach front of manila.

It's a shame that they closed the Baywalk restaurants. I almost every week I hang around here during my stay in 2001-2007. I love the Philippines. One day I will be back.

When I was studying at De La Salle university nearby and living at Balagtas condominium, almost everyday I went to this place to hang around and to have meals. I was more almost ten years ago. Ano kaya ang kalagayan ng Harizon ngayon?
