My mother's family got saved during one of Dr. Lester Sumrall's Revival when he first came to the Philippines. My brother and sister and I attended Summer Camp when we were growing up, vacation bible school, and church outings. I witnessed and was a part of God's word being preached, Miracles happen, Jesus love shown through the giving of food to the poor. I was there when we were rebuilding the new Cathedral of Praise in the 80's and we were holding services at the Robinson Mall. I would love to go back and visit Pastor Dave and Sis. Beverly Sumrall. God has used them Mightily.

Possibly the best venue in Ermita to listen to great music. Freddy usually performs on Mondays and Fridays. But I would urge everyone to go on any day of the week to listen to decent music. As an aside, their selection of imported brews is second to none in Metro Manila. You can get genuine Budweiser :) as well as several selections from Belgium, Germany, The UK, Ireland and more. The waiting staffs are all "small people" but service is as good if not better than five star venues. Prices? Cheaper than most touristy places in Ermita but not cheap. A great value is the best way to describe it. Don't go there looking for pok-pok; it ain't gonna happen. You go there once you have chosen an escort some place else (or with The Anchor in my case). Expect to meet locals, expats and tourists.
